| The site loaded very quickly.
It displays fine in 800x600. Good list of policies. Suggestion: Expand the
"Privacy" policy and discuss Security. Easy to navigate. Obvious notes to
shopper during checkout.
AREAS TO LOOK AT:
LISTS
Both the product list and the categories loaded extremely
quickly (the number of items listed could be increased, it's so fast.)
- Duffle Bags category: 7 on first page, only 2 on 2nd. Why not list 12 -- 15 per page for
the categories.
SEARCH
It says "You can search by part # or item name"
>> "part #" probably should be "product code".
It's hard to find anything, unless you already know the
product brand names. I tried to search for fanny pack & golf bag - no luck. If I'd
happened upon the site, from the store description (at the top of the pages), I might
search for computer bag or fanny pack -- but, nothing comes up.
>> Consider putting hidden keywords into the product
descriptions & allow the description to be searched.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION & HEADER
Some descriptions and product headers use <> between
sentences, as a way, I imagine, as bullets without using HTML. But, it's quite distracting
-- to me, so probably to others, also. In other descriptions the "·" character
is between sentences. Not as distracting, but those without it read more easily. (Big Dome
by Ogio description reads well, for example)
Some products have nothing in the "description"
(See "Search Engine Optimization, below)
ADD PRODUCT TO BASKET
Since this take the shopper to the basket, where there's a
"Continue Shopping" it might be a good idea to have the module that leaves the
category list expanded. I think it would to reorient the customer as to where they are in
the store. (Otherwise, clicking the "Back" button takes them right back to the
basket.)
SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION
- Check for a 3rd-party module for entering the meta tag
data.
1. keywords, 2. page description and 3. page title. (Keywords are
important to most search engines but are not that important to Google.)
Your description should make sense standing alone in a
search engine. So, the information that's in your product header should be in the first
part of your description, otherwise, here's what someone might see when one of your
products comes up in search results:
"· Fabric: 600D polyester / 840D junior ballistics
bottom. · Weight: 1lb 9oz / 0.7kg. · Dimensions: 12.5" x 16" x 5.25". ·
Capacity: 1425 cu in" "
Good idea using Related Item(s): the links help optimize it
for (some? all?) search engines.

CHECKOUT
State/Province has "Outside US" change this to
"Select a State" since this store isn't accepting orders outside the US.
(Consider a note in the footer of the first checkout page about only US order-taking.)
