Step 2Click on the "Lost Password E-mail" tab. Here you will
setup the e-mail that the affiliate will receive if he forgets his password and requests
it to be e-mailed to him. You can change the defaults of the "Subject" and
"Header Text" to your liking. If you wish to keep track of how many people
need to be reminded of their passwords you can have a CC sent to you.

Step 3
You can access affiliate information by clicking on the
"Affiliate" tab. It will be similar to the "Products" screen and
has similar features that allow you to sort, search, and select affiliate records.

The checkbox next to affiliates' names will DELETE the affiliate's record
once you update (if checked). Merchant, as usual, will NOT alert you that you are
deleting.
Step 4
It is nice to send the affiliate an e-mail after he joins,
and this can be setup with the "Affiliate Email Notification" tab.
Merchant does not default on having this feature active so you will need to click the
checkbox at the top to activate it.

You will then need to setup the "From" and
"To" parts of the e-mail which will be generated. We prefer to set the
"To" address as the "Affiliate's Email Address" and to send a CC of
the e-mail to ourselves, but you can do it the other way around, or not include a CC at
all. We suggest you change the default subject to something with your store
name in it, like "Welcome Gift Box Affiliate". The "Header" can
be more friendly, like "Thank you for joining our affiliate program...".
